LinkedIn MCP for Muse

Plan a daily relationship brief with Metaโ€™s Muse and the context behind your network.

Start the day with the relationships that need attention

A founderโ€™s next useful action might be answering a customer, checking in with a partner or preparing for an investor call. The important detail is often in an earlier conversation, not in the latest notification.

A daily relationship brief brings those threads into a manageable view. This guide describes how to scope that workflow with Metaโ€™s Muse and LinkedIn-related context through MCP, starting with what your connection actually makes available.

What Muse connector support means

Meta provides a Muse Connector Platform with guidance for services that expose tools and account access. Its guidelines distinguish reading information from changing data and taking sensitive actions, such as sending a message.

That platform support does not establish that Cold is approved in Museโ€™s connector directory or enabled for your account. Confirm the available Cold connection before attempting this workflow. This article is a workflow guide, not an announcement of an official Meta partnership or a verified public Cold listing.

Give the brief a clear boundary

Start with a small group of active relationships and a defined period. Ask for unresolved commitments, recent conversations and upcoming meetings only where those sources are accessible. A brief should tell you what deserves attention and why.

Example prompt, once a compatible connection is available: โ€˜Using the Cold context you can access, prepare a relationship brief for today. Focus on my active customer and partner conversations from the last two weeks. Identify unanswered questions and commitments I made. Show sources and mark anything uncertain.โ€™

Choose three actions, not thirty notifications

Ask Muse to suggest the three most useful next steps and explain the evidence for each. For example: reply to a question you have not answered, prepare for a scheduled conversation, or confirm whether an introduction is still wanted.

Priority should follow the relationship and the commitment, not merely how recent a message is. Ask the assistant to keep inferred urgency separate from an actual deadline. If the required meeting or conversation data is missing, the brief should say so.

Keep planning separate from acting

A morning brief can stay read-only. You can then choose a specific item and request a draft: โ€˜Write a short reply addressing the question in that thread. Show the draft and do not send it.โ€™

Museโ€™s published connector guidelines treat sensitive writes separately from ordinary reads. Whatever the connection offers, review the intended recipient and content before approving an external action. Do not assume a read-only connection can send messages or update records.

Check availability before choosing this workflow

Start on Coldโ€™s MCP page and confirm the supported connection for your account. Then check whether Muse can access it and which tools are available. General MCP compatibility alone is not enough to establish that authentication, permissions and the required data all work together.

If a compatible Cold connection is not available in your Muse account, do not treat this guide as a working setup recipe. Explore the Claude and ChatGPT guides and check their current connection options instead. Server addresses and account-specific setup belong in the authorised connection flow.

Make the brief useful before making it routine

Test the idea on a single day and a few relationships you know. Compare the brief with the underlying conversations: did it recover the open question, distinguish a promise from a suggestion and help you choose the right next step?

A recurring or background workflow needs its own supported scheduling and permissions. Start with an on-demand brief, then decide whether a repeatable routine would help. Explore Cold MCP to understand the relationship context behind that work.
